Carla Ulbrich (The Singing Patient) is a musical medical comedian who performs keynote speeches and comedy concerts for patients, healthcare workers, caregivers, nurses, and physicians.
A survivor of stroke, kidney failure and severe lupus, Carla has come out on the other side, healthy, laughing and singing. She is a living example of the power of humor and creativity in healing.
Carla has recorded 5 CDs of humorous songs, including the CD "Sick Humor" (all funny medical songs). She is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach and the author of "How Can You *Not* Laugh at a Time Like This?," a collection of humorous essays about her adventures as a patient.
