Carla will sign, read from the book, tell a few stories about her adventures as a patient, and answer questions. Books and CDs will be on hand for signing/ purchase.
I will be competing in our club's International Speech Contest, and perhaps also the Speech Evaluation contest. Twice a year, Toastmasters hosts contests in order to motivate members to up their game, and to give all members the opportunity to watch and listen as the best speakers in their area and district put their best foot forward.
